Postgraduate supervision
Nora welcomes PhD proposals in the areas of gender and law, particularly feminist and socio-legal approaches to refugee law, IHR or PIL.
Background
Nora is a Lecturer in Law and the Deputy Director of Postgraduate Research. She returned to the School of Law in June 2020. Prior to that, she was a Lecturer at City, University of London and a Teaching Fellow at University of Reading. In 2017, she was also a Visiting Lecturer at the Henley Business School, running the Gender and Feminism at Work module.
Nora's research interests lie primarily in the field of gender and law, particularly feminist and socio-legal approaches to refugee law, human rights law and public international law. She is also currently undertaking research on gendered inequalities in academia.
Together with Dr. Avi Boukli (Southampton), and Dr. Alex Dymock (Goldsmiths), Nora convenes the Gender, Sexuality and Law Stream at the Socio-Legal Studies Association Annual Conferences.
