Background
Leandro Ayres França is Doctor and Master in Criminal Sciences by PUCRS (Porto Alegre, Brazil), with a postdoctoral research fellowship at the same university. He worked for a decade as a lawyer. He also held the position of Penal Police Officer at SUSEPE (Brazil), working as legal advisor to the Superintendent Cabinet and as training course instructor in the Penitentiary Services School.
In his teaching experience, Leandro was responsible for various interrelated modules: Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (Faculdade Estácio); Roman Law (UFPR); Criminology, Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (UNISC); Punishment and Prison, Human Rights (ESP/SUSEPE).
