Keith Uff
Background
Mr Keith Uff received his legal education at Lincoln College, Oxford and then was called to the Bar by Gray’s Inn. He then practised at the English Bar and in 1972 became a Lecturer in Law at the University of Birmingham. His qualifications are BA, BCL, MA (Oxon.), Barrister (GI). He has extensive experience teaching Civil Procedure & Evidence (LLB, module leader); Agency & Partnership (LLB, module leader); Agency & Domestic Sale of Goods (LLM, module leader); Contract Law (LLB & GDL). He supervised at PG level in the areas of Civil Procedure, Evidence in civil cases, Contract, Commercial Law. Mr Uff has held visiting appointments at the University of Mauritius, the University of Stockholm, the University of Bayreuth, the University of Warwick and the University of Osnabrück. He is a former Assistant Editor of Civil Justice Quarterly and was formerly Executive General Secretary of the International Association of Procedural Law and Assistant Director of the Legal Office of the University of Birmingham. In 2020-2021 he has given a guest lecture at the University of Exeter for the module “International Investment Law and Arbitration”. In 2021-2022 he has given a guest lecture at the University of Reading for the module “International Investment Law and Arbitration”.
