Professional Services Awards

The Professional Services Awards are part of the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards - a new scheme launched in 2026 for the University’s centenary.
Four winning colleagues will be announced at the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards ceremony to be held in June 2026.
Each winner will receive a prize of £750 (minus tax) and the names of all shortlisted colleagues will be published on the website.
The awards will be run and judged by a committee of Professional Services Working Group members:
- Joshua Madrid, Chair
- Natasha Kennedy, Secretary
- Suzanne Abraham
- Leanne Ley
- Pete Bryant
- Marianna Spanoyannis
- Jude Brindley
The University's annual Professional Services Awards celebrate the contribution of our colleagues in professional and support roles, and their value in helping the University pursue its guiding principles of Community, Excellence, Sustainability and Engagement.
The awards also promote and celebrate resourceful, responsible and respectful work shown by professional and support staff.
