Student seeking support

Our courses for School English teachers aim to empower participating teachers by improving their pedagogical knowledge and skills, as well as their English Language proficiency, through active, interactive, experiential, and reflective learning.

A combination of cultural experiences, such as talks, workshops, visits, and events, will promote both participants’ confidence in teaching and personal growth.

A standard three-month course consists of four modules:

  • Methodology: this module introduces participants to the general and EFL-specific learning theories, pedagogical approaches, and technology.
  • Reflective practice and placement: this module offers visits to UK schools, along with preparatory and reflective workshops.
  • English Language Enhancement: this module boosts participants’ confidence in linguistic knowledge and skills for classroom teaching.
  • Intercultural Competence Development: this module aims to promote personal growth and greater openness.

We can adjust all components, weightings, and course duration to suit your needs.

Participants greatly benefit from experiences in

  • home stay
  • placement in a local school
  • cultural events
  • working with other teachers.
