As a postgraduate research student in the Department of English Literature, you will become part of a lively and supportive academic community.
Students are closely supported not just by their supervisors, but also through the structure of their ‘annual review’ where the student submits work to a selected assessor to review and then discuss with the assessor, a chair and their supervisor in an annual meeting.
Beyond their supervisors, PhD students are also supported by the Departmental and School Directors of Postgraduate Studies.
