Areas of interest

My current areas of interest are finding innovative ways to promote an inclusive learning environment and enhance student experience.  My research interest include Economic Growth, Foreign Direct Investments, Poverty, Energy, Financial Inclusion and China-Africa Investment/Trade Relations.

Background

Before joining the University of Reading in 2023, I was the Associate Course Director and Module Leader at Coventry University, Coventry Business School. I have taught and convened modules on the International Foundation Year and Pre-Masters programme at Surrey University; Undergraduate and Postgraduate at the University of Surrey, University of Coventry and University of Swansea. In addition, I was a Principle Econometrician/Consultant at Data2Decisions, London and held several economic consultancy roles with local councils and the private sector.
