Background

I joined the University of Reading in 2015 as a Mathematics and Statistics Tutor (part-time) in the Mathematics Support Centre before moving to the International Study and Language Institute (ISLI) in 2021 as a Lecturer in Foundation Mathematics.

Before joining at Reading University, I taught undergraduate Mathematics modules at various universities in the UK such as Oxford Brookes University, Brunel University London, and Middlesex University London. I also have several years of experience in teaching A-level Mathematics to international students in the UK.

After completing MSc in Pure Maths from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, where I am originally from. I started my career as lecturer there in 1991 and became a professor of Mathematics in 2006. I obtained a PhD from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh in 1996.
