Sharing your data
No matter how someone does or does not identify, they are not required to disclose their disability to their employer. However, it is important to recognise that employers still have a duty under the Equality Act 2010 to provide Reasonable Adjustments when they know or could ‘reasonably be expected to know’ about an employee’s disability. Having accurate data enables us to take meaningful action to ensure we are an equitable and inclusive workplace.
If you have not yet shared your diversity data or want to encourage your team to do so – you can do so by updating your data on Employee Self Service.
